It is the students responsibility to verify with their employer, school, etc. which certification they are required to have.

BLS Course

Basic Life Support

Red Cross CPR/AED course designed for healthcare professionals, healthcare students, and first responders.

ALS Course

Advanced Life Support

Red Cross course designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other adult cardiovascular emergencies.

PALS Course

Pediatric Advanced Life Support

Red Cross course designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or respond in the management of respiratory and/or cardiac emergencies in children and infants.

Course Details

We offer the Blended Learning training format for Red Cross ALS, BLS, and PALS courses

(Part online & Part in-person)

This training option offers the flexibility of self-paced online learning with in-person hands-on skills testing.

Therefore, these courses are done in 2 parts:

  • Part I (Online Learning) – The eLearning (online) portion is a self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program.
  • Part II  (Skills Practice & Testing) – The skills session is designed to allow students time to practice before required testing to receive their certification card.

BLS Course (REd Cross)

Part online & Part in-person

We offer skills sessions 4-7 days/week at various times including weekends.

We are dedicated to success of the learner; therefore training time varies depending on individuals learning needs and experience.

Average length of time:
Skills portion: about 1-1.25 hours 
Online portion: about 2-3 hours

Yes, and we do offer discounts for combo sessions. 

You will have to complete the online portion for each certification you wish to obtain and then schedule 1 skills session with us to do everything.

Your Red Cross certification is valid for 2 years as per the Red Cross guidelines.

The Blended Learning training format is available for anyone wanting/needing ALS (Initial or Renewal). It is an excellent option for those who want to complete the bulk of the training from home and then attend an approx. 1.5 hour in person skills session.

No, you are required to also complete a BLS course.

Reason: ALS does not cover any child/infant information or skills. 

You can book a combo skills session with us to obtain both certifications on the same visit (you will have to complete both the BLS &  ALS online courses).
