Heartsaver First Aid

This course covers Basic First Aid only.

  • List the priorities, roles, and responsibilities of the first aid rescuer

Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid, CPR, AED

Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Online is intended for those involved in childcare who have a duty to respond to illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. This audience includes child care workers, teachers, foster care workers, camp counselors, youth organizations, and coaches for children’s sports organizations. This course is also ideal for parents, grandparents, babysitters, and guardians. This course is also appropriate for educators, teachers and the general public.

American Heart Association (AHA) offers training in 2 formats. Each format include the same learning objectives for the same (identical) certification card:

  1. Instructor Led Courses – Instructors deliver both the cognitive and psychomotor components in a classroom setting.
  2. Blended Learning Courses – offers the flexibility of self-paced on-line learning with in-person hands-on skills practice & testing. This course is in 2 parts:
    • Part I (Online Learning) – The eLearning (online) portion is a self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program.
    • Part II (Skills Practice & Testing) – The skills session is designed to allow students time to practice before testing on skills required to receive their certification card.
